Notes on the systematic position and distribution of Mycomya supernivea (Diptera, Mycetophilidae) in Japan

چکیده

Mycomya supernivea Nakamura and Saigusa, 2020 is a recently described large-sized cold-adapted fungus gnat species known from the island of Hokkaido northern part Honshu in Japan. This study reports for first time Shikoku Island central Honshu, indicating that more widely distributed throughout Japanese islands. Additionally, systematic position M. supernivae within genus discussed, it placed under subgenus s. str. group matrona .
